We are excited to announce our education offering of “Clinical Aromatherapy Utilizing Massage”. Come network with your colleagues!
This is a very hands-on class. You will experience 41 essential oils and learn how to use these oils to improve your outcomes. The emphasis is on not only what these oils can do, but how to use them to achieve the desired results. Discussion will include how to assist with Fibromyalgia, Restless Leg Syndrome, Insomnia, Lower Back Pain, Arthritis, Sinusitis, Headaches including Migraines, Psoriasis, Eczema, Depression, and much more. Humor is used to keep the class light, but the main emphasis is to help you help your clients better.

INSTRUCTOR BIO: George Cox
George has been teaching aromatherapy for 22 years. His classes are accredited by NCBTMB and as such, he is an approved provider of continuing education for licensed massage therapists. He teaches or has taught at 25 Massage Schools in 7 states and has presented to several state AMTA conferences. He is the Director for the state of Ohio for the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy. Natural Options Aromatherapy was founded in 2003 and is an approved educator for N.A.H.A to teach Aromatherapy Level 1 Professional Certification Classes (30 hours) and Aromatherapy Level 2 Certification Classes (200 hours). Natural Options School of Aromatherapy is the aromatherapy affiliate for the Planetree Organization.
He developed the curriculum and taught a three credit hour class on Aromatherapy at Cincinnati State College that encompasses 18 hours of lecture & 18 hours of laboratory from 2004-2013.
His clinical approach to aromatherapy has lead the way for him to develop professional relationships with MD’s, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, the Ohio AIDS Coalition, and numerous hospital support groups. He is currently working with over 70 hospitals including the Cleveland Clinic Healing Services Department at the main campus as well as Medina, Euclid, Lima Memorial, UPMC, Medina, Hillcrest, Fairview, University Hospitals of San Antonio, Beaver Dam in WI, Mt. Sinai in NYC, Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Cohen Children’s Hospital in NY, Penn Medicine, and Lakewood Hospitals. Natural Options Aromatherapy also works with many hospices and skilled nursing facilities.
Prior to finding aromatherapy, he has been in field management for Revlon, Inc., been the VP of Marketing and Sales for Fashion Two Twenty Cosmetics, owned and managed a cosmetic company, and held the position of Senior Director Business Development for a chain of Skilled Nursing Facilities.
Cancellations received at least 30 days prior to the class: Full refund. Due to the costs of rentals, supplies, and speaker fees, if cancellations are received within less than 30 days prior to the class, there will be no refund. Cancellations must be either written or via email. The Board reserves the right to amend or waive this policy in documented emergency situations.
